Four Days in the City of Light

Iconic landmarks, palace halls, world-class art, an unforgettable lunch above Paris and one glamorous night at the Moulin Rouge.

A Paris Edit

Paris was a whirlwind of architecture, gardens, art, history and late-night glamour. Over four full days, we experienced many of the city’s essential sights—from the halls of Versailles to the lights of the Moulin Rouge.

The Itinerary

Four days, four distinct versions of Paris.

Day One

Notre-Dame, the Jardin des Tuileries and the Arc de Triomphe on foot.

Day Two

The Palace of Versailles followed by the Louvre Museum.

Day Three

Lunch at Le Jules Verne and an evening at the Moulin Rouge.

Day Four

A final panoramic view from the top of Montparnasse Tower.

Day One • The Essential Walk

A first look at Paris.

We began on foot, moving through a series of landmarks that made the city feel immediately familiar: Notre-Dame, the formal paths of the Jardin des Tuileries and, finally, the Arc de Triomphe. It was a full first day and the perfect introduction to Paris.

Day Two • Art & History

Versailles to the Louvre.

The second day was ambitious: a tour inside the Palace of Versailles, followed by a return to Paris for the Louvre Museum. The ornate rooms and sweeping scale of Versailles contrasted beautifully with the Louvre’s extraordinary collections and modern glass pyramid.

Day Three • Le Jules Verne

Lunch inside the Eiffel Tower.

Lunch at Le Jules Verne was an exquisite experience and one of the defining moments of the trip. The two-Michelin-starred restaurant sits on the Eiffel Tower’s second floor, approximately 125 meters above Paris, and is reached by a private elevator. Chef Frédéric Anton’s refined modern French cuisine, attentive service and remarkable setting made the reservation feel like far more than a meal.

That evening, we traded elegant dining for theatrical spectacle with tickets to the Moulin Rouge. It was a glamorous, energetic conclusion to one of the most memorable days of the trip.

Day Four • The Final View

Paris from Montparnasse.

On our fourth day, we visited the top of Montparnasse Tower. Looking across the city after dark was the perfect way to close the trip—and to see many of the places we had explored from an entirely new perspective.
